Troubleshooting Common Causes for an Invalid License Key

Terminated Subscription:
If you have a subscription, is it still active or is it showing as Terminated? All subscriptions must remain active for the duration of use.
Canceling the subscription will immediately terminate the license.

Wrong License Type:
Fantasy Grounds Unity (FGU) requires a new FGU license key. You won’t be able to use a 1-time or subscription license from Fantasy Grounds Classic. Check your receipt to ensure that it lists Fantasy Grounds Unity. The same is true in reverse.

If your order was for a subscription and you did not receive the email for some reason, you can send an email note to support@fantasygrounds.com and in a ticket from the Customer Support portal and let us know what email address the order should have been linked to and when the purchase was made. We can look it up and email it to you.
