Click on the Settings button at the top of the sidebar to change the Play Mode. The Play Mode switches which buttons will appear in the sidebar for your game session. You can further modify this by turn on or off specific buttons.
Play Mode selects the standard buttons most commonly needed by Players.
GM Mode adds additional buttons used to help control a gaming sessions, such as Encounters, Items and Parcels.
Create PC Mode adds additional buttons to Player Mode that aid in character creation such as Backgrounds, Classes and Feats.
All Mode adds all buttons to the sidebar.
The Clear button will remove all buttons from the sidebar allowing you to select another mode or select individual buttons to more easily customize your experience.
