Whitelisting or Creating Exceptions for Antivirus Applications

Problem

My antivirus or antimalware application says Fantasy Grounds contains a virus, is a malicious program, or has quarantined it.

Solution

Fantasy Grounds does not contain any malicious software, viruses, or anything of that nature.

Sometimes, antivirus and anti-malware applications can incorrectly flag a program such as Fantasy Grounds as containing viruses or harmful code. This is called a false-positive and it can happen from time to time as new virus definitions are rolled out to antivirus programs.

To keep your antivirus application from continuously flagging Fantasy Grounds as a threat, you may have to “whitelist” it or set an exception in your antivirus software.
