Party Sheet
Introduction
The Party Sheet is a place to pass items and coins to the player characters, and to organize the order of the player characters when marching or taking watch while resting. To open the Party Sheet, click the 'Party Sheet' button in the top right menu of the main Fantasy Grounds screen. The Party Sheet is divided into two tabs: Inventory and Order.
Inventory Tab
The Inventory tab is divided into four sections: Parcel Coins, Parcel Items, Party Coins, and Party Inventory. NOTE: The Party Coins and Party Inventory contents will only be visible to players if the DM has set the option 'Party: Show inventory to clients' to 'On'.
Parcel Coins
This area shows coins that have not yet been distributed to the player characters.
Populate this section by either: 1. dragging treasure parcels; 2. selling unwanted treasure (see below); 0r 3. directly editing the fields.
The GM can expand the list by using the edit list buttons or by right-clicking and selecting from the radial menu. New Items can be added and existing ones can be deleted.
The GM can also edit the default names of the coins.
If a parcel is dropped into the Inventory and contains coins with a new name, then that name will be added to the list.
Coins will remain in this section until the GM distributes treasure to the party (see below).
Parcel Items
This area displays items which have not yet been claimed by player characters.
Items appearing here can be dragged by any player directly into the Gear section of their Character Sheet.
Players can also drag items from their Character Sheet's Gear tab directly into this section.
The GM can also drag and drop items from the Items window into this area.
The GM can delete items by right-clicking and selecting 'Delete Item' from the radial menu.
The GM can open an item by clicking on the dragon icon to the right of the item. NOTE: Editing the contents of the item here will not alter the original version of the item.
The GM can also create new items by right clicking and selecting 'Create Item' from the radial menu. NOTE: Creating items here will not add the item to the Items window.
Players can view a description of the item by clicking on its dragon icon.
Distribute Treasure
The GM can use the 'Distribute Assignments and Coins' button in the middle of the Party Sheet to distribute treasure and items to the party.
Player characters must be present in the Order tab to benefit from treasure distribution.
For coins each party member will get an equal share of the treasure. NOTE: Leftover amounts will remain in the Coins Parcel area.
Parcel Items need to be assigned before they will be distributed. To assign an item, type the character's name into the 'Assignment' field next to the item.
If the name to which the item is assigned is not a party member then the item will not be distributed.
A list of the items distributed and to who they went to is shown in chat.
Sell Items
Unwanted treasure can be converted to coins by clicking on the 'Sell Items' button found between the two top sections of the sheet.
Only unassigned items will be sold.
The gross value of the item will be the value shown on the items sheet; if no value is shown then a warning will appear in the chat window and the item will not be sold.
Any coin description is acceptable as long as there is a number preceding it. For example, an item with a value of 10 ss will be sold and 'ss' will appear as a new coin in the coin list if it doesn't already exist.
The DM can set the value that the players obtain for the sale by editing the % box directly below the sale button.
If the selling price after the % set by the DM is less than one currency unit then the item will not be sold.
Party Coins
This section is only available to the players if the DM selects the option ‘Party: show inventory to clients’.
This part of the Inventory shows the total number of each coin type held by the party and how those coins are distributed amongst the party members.
This section cannot be edited by anyone; it is purely for informational purposes.
Party Inventory
This section is only available to the players if the DM turns on the option ‘Party: Show inventory to clients’.
This section shows the total number of each item owned by the party and how many of that item each party member has.
There is a button just to the right of 'Party Inventory' which allows the DM to refresh the party inventory.
Order Tab
Drag the player characters to the left section to populate the Order tab.
The left-hand column is used to set a watch order. The GM can edit the number boxes to show this order.
The right-hand square functions as a blank map image. For example, tokens can be dropped, a grid can be set, targeting can be used, etc. It is normally used to display relative positions in a marching order.
