World of Darkness Advantages and Flaws

Advantages are a record type that is to assist in providing information to the character sheet. There are three standard types, Backgrounds, Merits, and Loresheets. When the type is chosen it may adjust the sheet and show/hide fields that are needed for that type. A subtype control sometimes is available to provide better filtering for the master index.

Merits

These provide a value that is displayed on the sheet. A description area is provided to give background information.

Background

A description area is provided as the value of a background is setup on the sheet itself. Please note that some backgrounds are listed as flaws in their description, but are still located under the backgrounds type due to the nature of the record and how it performs with the ruleset. An example would be Adversary and Enemies.

Loresheet

These records will provide the lores of the sheet and a description of the loresheet. The list is prepopulated with all lores at their cost ready to be edited if creating a custom one. Clicking on the label of the lore entry will open a further window showing more information about that particular lore. When on the character sheet, a selection control will appear and help keep track of the ones selected for the character.

Flaws

These functions are very similar to merit records. They will have a value control and a description field. These however have a type field instead of a subtype field for masterindex filtering assistance.
