Abilities

Overview of the “Abilities” section.

Ability Fields

  • Value - The total value for this ability score. Can double click to make a ability check.

  • Fields - Various fields for each ability. See the Player’s Handbook for details on these fields.

Ability Score Dialog

To access the Ability Score Details window click on the gear button shown in the image below.

The red highlighted sections are as follows.

Ability Score Name (example highlights Strength)

  • The name of the ability score for this row.

Ability Score Percentile (example highlights Strength)

  • The name of the ability percentile score for this row.

Base Column

  • This is the base score of the ability.

Modify Base Column

  • This is the modified base score of the ability.

Modify Column

  • This value is applied to the base (or mod base if used) score.

Second Modify Column

  • This value is applied to the base (or mod base if used) score.

Total Column

  • This is the ability score total value after all custom modifiers are applied. Note: Effects are not reflected on this score.

Ability Checks

Each section highlighted above allows you to double click or drag & drop to make a check.

  • Ability Scores - Will make a d20 roll and rolling at or below the target is a success, above is a failure.

  • Bend Bars, System Shock, Resurrection Survival, Learn Spell and Spell Failure - Will make a d100 roll and rolling at or below the target is a success, above is a failure.
