FG Forge - Shop

The Forge is still under active development. Items shown in the following documentation may be recently outdated or differ slightly from current feature sets.

The Shop area displays different types of user content items available for free or purchase.

Filters

There are various ways to more-granularly control how you can sort and show items in the Forge Shop.
First, be sure you click on Search Filters to expand and display the options available.

Product Category allows you to show only the items associated with a specific Category such as a specific ruleset.

To reset and see all items in the Shop again, click on All Categories at the top of the list.

 

 

 

 

 


Product Type allow you to show only items of a certain type, such as Map Modules, Skins, etc.

To reset and see all items in the Shop again, click on Any Type at the top of the list.

There is also a Search field which allows you to search for a specific type of product.

 

 


Price allows you to show only items that are free only, paid only or both.

To reset and see all items in the Shop again, click on Any Price at the top of the list.

There is also a Search field which allows you to search for a specific type of price.


Date allows you to sort items by the date they were added to the Shop.

To reset and see all items in the Shop again, click on Use Column Sorts at the top of the list.

Use Column Sorts will allow you to use the ↑↓ icons above the columns to determine sort preference.

There is also a Search field which allows you to search for a specific search criteria.


Show x entries allows you control how many Shop items are displayed on a single shop page at a time.

10 items is the default, but you can also select 25, 50 or 100.

Show Owned allows Crafters to see their own items in the Shop listing if checked. If left unchecked, their items will not show among the listing of other Crafters.

 


Search allows you to search for keywords found in the title or description of the item and display only items matching the search term.

To reset the search to show all Shop items, clear the Search field and press Enter to perform an empty search.


Sorting

There are many ways to sort how information appears in the list of Shop items. Each items can be toggled in ascending and descending order.

Item

Toggles displayed items from oldest to newest, or newest to oldest.

Item

Toggles displayed items from oldest to newest, or newest to oldest.

Type

Type is a display field and items cannot be sorted by type here. Use Product Type instead.

Rating

Toggles displayed items from highest rating to lowest, or lowest to highest.

Subscribers

Toggles displayed items from highest number of subscribers to lowest, or lowest to highest.

Price

Toggles displayed items from highest price to lowest (Free), or lowest (Free) to highest.

Adding Free Items to Your Inventory

To add a FREE product to your inventory, simply click the Get button under the FREE heading on the right side of the product listing on the Shop.

You can also click the Get button in the upper-right corner of the product page itself.

Immediately after clicking the Get button, a green notification will appear in the upper-right corner letting you know the transaction was successful and that the item was added to your inventory.

Adding Paid Items to Your Inventory

Much like FREE products, to add a PAID product to your inventory, simply click the Buy button under the listed gold amount on the right side of the product listing on the Shop.

You must have at least the amount of the item you are purchasing gold in your Treasury to purchase Paid item

You can also click the Buy button in the upper-right corner of the product page itself.

If you have enough gold in your Treasury, you will be presented with a Confirm Purchase box:

Click Confirm to complete the purchase, or Cancel to cancel it. Immediately after clicking the Confirm button, a green notification will appear in the upper-right corner letting you know the transaction was successful and that the item was added to your inventory.

If you have enough gold in your Treasury to purchase the item, a green notification will appear in the upper-right corner letting you know the transaction was successful and that the item was added to your inventory. You will then see the updated amount of gold remaining in your Treasury next to the Treasury button in the menu at the top.

If you do not have enough gold in your Treasury to purchase the item, a red notification will appear in the upper-right corner letting you know the transaction was unsuccessful. The item will not be added to your inventory.
