A restart will need to be done if a mistake has been made.
Character Sheet Overview
Character Sheet Main Tab
Determination
Determination has its uses and how it is used is covered in the core rulebook. A player can edit the box and input the number of determination they have available to their character. To use determination, right click on the box and select the option from the radial.
Editing Attributes and Discipline Ranks
Selecting the edit button on the frame will toggle the increase/decrease rank buttons to move them up and down. There is no current maximum to allow homebrew, but the box will not go into the negatives.
Note: Both Attributes and Disciplines have modifier misc fields as can be seen with the ‘+’ symbol. These are interacted with by holding the CTRL on your keyboard and using your mouse wheel to adjust up or down the bonus.
Rolling Process
The rolling process is clicking on the Attribute you wish to have associated with the roll and then clicking on the Discipline rank die to initiate a base task check. If you wish to include a focus with the roll, then clicking on the Focuses button will need to be included prior clicking on the discipline rank die.
Talents
You have two options:
Drag and drop a link from the sidebar
Clicking the green add button will setup a custom talent
Manual edits of the character sheet may be required as most are not automated if they enhance a character. Also consider requirements if you plan on drag and dropping or creating custom talents. Speaking with your GM prior to this process to be sure you are able to use said talent.
Focuses
Focuses are a list of the character’s focuses they will have available for the rolls they wish to roll. The only automated part of this process is the button that needs to be selected prior to clicking on the discipline rank die.
Character Sheet Combat Tab
The combat tab is broken down into areas of interest for combat situations. The Stress tracking frame provides maximum stress the character can withstand, the track for wounds to their stress, injury status, and resistance.
The Armor frame will track any armor the character is wearing. Drag and dropping or clicking the green add button will set up armor for the character.
The Equipment frame functions the same as Armor, but this will track all equipment and weapons the character has available to them.
The Actions frame provides a list of available actions to the character. If a choice for attribute/discipline is needed a drop down box is visible and available to set up those rolls. If they are not available, then a set is baked into the roll. The die icon will present the TN for the roll and clicking it will roll the said action. This area also will provide the weapon attacks that are in your equipment frame. It will show under the Attack action the options to provide the attack.
Note: A Focus button is provided to assist in applying your focus to the roll.
Character Sheet Notes Tab
The Notes tab will hold many of the background mechanical elements of the character. If you go through the Character Creator, this will populate with the choices you made for the various steps. If you wish to manually do this process, then a drag and drop of the links for the various elements will populate the area it’s intended. They will also update automatically any innate provided bonuses. No link is provided to check the record it’s linked to. You will need to hover your mouse over the text and a highlight frame will appear if properly linked. Double clicking on the text will then open the represented record window.
The Rank Frame will track the character’s starfleet rank and reputation. The tooltip will update the character’s status with those fields.
The support character frame is set up to hold any support characters the player wishes to keep track of or use during play. It uses the same framework as the character sheet and will follow the same notes provided in those sections.
The notes frame is set up to assist in tracking any miscellaneous notes or bio information. When you use the Character Creator, your traits and values will appear here under a note. This helps player’s expand on notes and help organize them how they see fit. The note record it creates uses the same functionality as the notes from the sidebar.
Character Sheet Ships Tab
The ships tab provides the crew related tasks available depending on the role/station the character is currently occupying. It provides a place to decide the ship that the character is a crew member. This is setup in the party sheet and described under that section. The actions list functions very similar to the combat tab.
