Combat

Overview of the “Combat” section.

Fields

AC

  • Total armor class value.

THACO

  • To hit armor class zero value. You can double click this value or drag/drop it onto chat or token/combat tracker entry to make a basic hit attempt.

INIT

  • Generic initiative total value. You can double click or drag/drop it onto the chat box to make a generic initiative roll.

SURPRISE

  • 1 to this value indicates surprise. You can double click or drag/drop it onto the chat box to make a surprise check.

MOVE

  • Total movement value.

WND

  • Total wounds the character currently has. This can be modified by the player by selecting and typing in the new total.

MAX

  • Total max hit points.

TMP

  • Total temporary hit points. This can be modified by the player by selecting and typing in the new total.

SPECIALS

  • Move can be used to denote special movement rates.

  • Defenses can be used to denote special defenses.

  • Senses can be used to denote special senses.

Combat Dialog

To access the Combat Details window click the highlighted icon to the furthest right on the “Combat” header.

Fields

The red highlighted sections are as follows.

Hitpoints
  • Base is the base hitpoints for the character. This is updated when a new class level is added.

  • Con is the hitpoint modifier applied because of constitution bonuses.

  • Mod is a hitpoint modifier that can be applied.

  • Temp is another hitpoint modifier that can be applied.

Surprise
  • Dice is the dice rolled for surprise. The default is d10 if not set.

  • Base is the surprise number such that 1 to Base is the range of results that will indicate the character is surprised. If the base is set to 3, a roll of 1, 2 or 3 would indicate surprise.

  • Mod is a modifier that can be applied.

  • Temp is another modifier that can be applied.

Move
  • Base is the move speed of this character’s race.

  • Enc is the modified move base because of encumbrance.

  • Mod is a base modifier that can be applied. Using this will change the base move speed.

  • Mod is a modifier that can be applied.

  • Temp is another modifier that can be applied.

Armor
  • Base is the armor class rating of items worn by the character.

  • Armor is the modifier applied to armor class for armor worn.

  • Shield is the modifier applied to armor class for a shield equipped.

  • Dex is the modifier applied to armor class from dexterity score.

  • Misc is a modifier that can be applied.

THACO
  • This is the To Hit Armor Class Zero setting. Typically this is automated when adding class/levels but can be manually set here.

Weapon Non-Proficiency Penalty
  • Is the penalty applied when a weapon has no weapon proficiencies applied to it.

Initiative Modifier
  • Is the modifier applied to generic initiative rolls.

Turn Undead Level
  • Is the turn undead level rating for this character.
