Powers

Powers

The Powers tab shows all powers and/or spells. See https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996641213.

Mode and Display

The Powers tab has several options. The first thing to be aware of is the Mode and Display options.

  • Display has the following options: Group, Summary and Actions. Group display shows the group name for each spell or power. Summary gives a short summary of each power. Actions mode is the most compact displaying only the action buttons.

  • Mode has the following options: Standard, Preparation and Combat. Standard displays as the above view, Combat mode displays only powers that are memorized or have charges.

Preparation Mode

Preparation mode allows the player to select memorization options and charge/use settings.

Spell Slots

  • In the Spell Slots section there is the effective level for Arcane or Divine spell casting. For automation this determines number of damage dice or duration and/or effects values for many spells. This value is typically only updated by leveling up.

  • Spell slots for each spell level that can be used for memorization. These values are updated upon leveling adding the level up value to the existing value.

Spell Memorization

The arrows and number indicators highlighted above in the Spells (Level 1) section are used to memorize spells. The left arrow will remove a memorized slot, the right arrow will add one to that spell. The character can only memorize as many slots as indicated in the spell slots section for the spell level.

Item/Other

The number value highlighted in the “Wand” section above is the total uses the item has.

Combat Mode

Combat mode after memorizing spells.

Spell Slots

The highlighted section in Spell Slots indicates that all spell slots for 1st Level are all utilized. 2nd Level has 2 slots memorized and one slot that can still be memorized. 3rd Level has all slots memorized.

Spells

  • The highlighted indicator in Spells (Level 1) displays the spells that have been memorized. The unchecked circle means the spells have not be cast yet.

  • The highlighted indicator in Spells (Level 3) displays spells that have been memorized. The checked circle indicates that Haste has been cast once and has one more use left for the day.
