Cyberpunk RED Jobs

The “Jobs” record type replaces the usual “Quest” record type used by other rulesets in Fantasy Grounds and allows GMs to create their very own Screamsheets. Screamsheets built by official Cyberpunk RED products will also be entered in this format for clarity.

Default Layout

This is the default layout of a Job record. Because Screamsheets take time to enter properly, if a GM just wishes to create a Job on-the-fly, this is the easiest way. All new Jobs have the basic layout shown with a rich text field for entering details.

After making your edits, click the “Lock” icon in the top right to hide the Layout field.

Screamsheet Layout

The Screamsheet layout offers a FG version of the official screamsheet templates used by R. Talsorian Games and allows GMs great flexibility in providing detailed screamsheets. This method of creating Jobs is provided as a flavorful way to begin a campaign or a session’s new mission for the crew.

To start, first click the “Default” layout cycler to change it to “Screamsheet.” The following should appear:

From this window you can enter rich text, including images and headers into both columns, as well as update the headers at the top. First, give your Screamsheet a name, and then change the headers in “Header Options” to what you want. The “Header Options” should be a comma separated list of headers. They default to what is shown in the above screenshot.

After specifying what you want for your headers, click on the one you wish to be displayed in red as the active section for this Screamsheet.

You are now ready to begin entering content. Usually, it’s best to enter a Header first. To do this, right click into the column you wish to edit and click “Add Header” in the top right.

Once the Header has been added you can type into it to enter your title for the header. After a header, you will likely want a Text section. To add a Text section, right click again in the gray area and click “Add Item” at the bottom.”

This will create a rich text field for you to enter headers, bullets, links, etc.

When you want to add an image to a Screamsheet, first make sure the Image is in your Campaign’s “images'' folder by clicking “Assets” from the Sidebar, then “Folder” and navigate to the “campaigns'' directory to find your campaign. In the “images'' folder, copy the image you’d like to add to your Screamsheet, then click the “Refresh” button on the bottom.

Back in your screamsheet, right click the column you wish to add your image, and then click “Add Image” from the top left.

This will add a new (blank) image component. Find your image from either your “Assets” folder” and click and drag the image to the blank component that appears. You can also drag images from images created in your campaign via the “Images” record.

After the image is loaded in, you may need to adjust the scale. Click the “down” or “up” arrows on the top right to adjust the size of the image to fit your column as desired.

Continue adding to your screamsheet as desired. Don’t forget to fill in both columns! If you wish to delete any component, you can right-click a component and click “Delete Item” from the bottom left to remove it.

When you are happy with your screamsheet, click the “Lock” icon in the top right. This will hide the Layout and Header Options fields, and make sure that nothing can be edited by accident.

Your Screamsheet is now ready to be shared to your players!

For best practice, it is always good to make screamsheets in a separate campaign and then export them as a module to be loaded in the campaign used by you and your players. You can build and share them in the same campaign, but keep in mind that sharing a Screamsheet while you are editing may result in images not loading properly on the Player’s client machines.
