The modifier box will function like it does in other rulesets adding a modifier to the dice rolled. Additionally when a modifier is added and an Action roll (Task Check or Crew Task Checks) it will add additional dice to the dice pool rolled.

Difficulty Setting

The Difficulty setting buttons will default to a difficulty. This will be added to chat outputs for Action rolls. After the roll it will retain the last difficulty rolled and will need to be changed if a difficulty is needed. Clicking on the difficulty buttons off will change the difficulty to zero. Zero Difficulties will not produce any Success/Failure related chat output when an action roll is performed.
