World of Darkness Character Sheet

Character Selection

The Character Selection window will provide add buttons for the various settings World of Darkness 5e provides. The current default would be Vampire: The Masquerade when creating a sheet using right click. Mouse over the plus icon buttons for a tooltip on what type of character it would create.

Overview Header

The overview header will contain the portrait, name, special dice, token, and speaker controls. It will also contain the global edit button.

Portrait, Name, Token, and Speaker controls will function as they do in any other CoreRPG based ruleset.

The Special Dice control will display what special dice that are currently activated for your character type. These will function based on the how the dice are supposed to be used within the system the character is based. Clicking on them will enable/disable them to be used. Some character sheet rolls will automatically adjust the number activated or disabled as they are used.

The global edit control will change the sheet to allow interaction in changing the numbers that make up things like Attributes and Skill dots.

Main Tab

This tab will contain many of the rolling controls for the character.

Attribute Frame

The Attributes section is along the top and will display each attribute under their defined attribute type. The roll button will roll the available pool (if one is created). Clicking on the button of the entry will include it into the available pool. You will see these buttons through the Main tab to help assist in creating the pool. Once you are ready to roll, clicking on any of the roll icons will add the entry to the pool and initiate the roll. Editing the dots will require switching the global edit button into edit mode.

Health/Willpower

The Health and Willpower trackers will display the current damage and boxes available based on the attributes and misc. bonus fields. Adding/Removing damage is performed by clicking on the -/+ buttons. The -/+ controls to the left are superficial damage and to the right are aggravated damage.

Skills

The skills have a roll button to initiate a roll, but will require an attribute to be pooled with the roll. A details toggle is provided to add any specialties the character has gained for that skill. The text of the name for the skill will change to a bolder version of the original if the skill has a specialty typed into the space provided. Holding Shift and clicking the dice roll button will include the extra die and output the contents of your specialty line. Editing is enabled by using the global edit button to add the ranks. The headers are expandable/collapsible to help with displaying/hiding the list to limit scrolling.

Special Frame

The Special Frame is where the rest of the characters rolls and special traits are tracked. This frame can change based on the character type that was selected at character selection. We will cover the universal controls here and have special sections for each setting. Each section is collapsable/expandable by clicking on the header.

Display Control

The Display control cycles your actions list to display either the group that is being set by the entry; show the mini action buttons for rolls that were setup; show a helpful short description area for notes or break down of the action entry.

Custom Roll Button

Custom Roll control is located in the top right of the frame and will be available to setup any custom rolls the player wishes to have ready. These are setup by right clicking on the action entry and then choosing the 'Add Action' radial and selecting the type of action. Rolls and Mods are the two options and each will provide further customization. Further break down of action entries will be in the action's section.

Action Add Buttons

These buttons will display to the left of the Custom Roll button. These are quick add buttons to pull the library records that are currently loaded for the individual. So if some are missing, please check if a module isn't loaded. This button will then display a dialog box asking which of the campaign records you would wish to add to your character. This will also ensure to only show the records that the character is eligible for based on the record itself. A character can still receive an ineligible record by drag and dropping the link for the record to the sheet.

Equipment

The Equipment section will be where the player can track the equipment the player needs to keep track of during play. Adjusting the item's type will provide more options to the entry line. Weapons and Armor are currently setup to provide a roll to the entry to assist with attacks or special armor rolls. Clicking on the details control will provide a editor window to create the roll you wish to associate with the item. If more rolls are needed then a custom roll can be setup.

Actions

The actions area is displayed when a character has an action record added to the sheet. These can be done through the quick add buttons near the top of the frame or by dropping links of the records to the sheet. The entry will provide a place for the name and group (if has one) it's associated with. If the record has dice pools setup, when added to the sheet, it will automatically attempt to add the rolls in the dice pool field in the record. You can also adjust and add more by opening the record and tying more pools and choosing reparse from the right click radial. Adding rolls and mods to the entry is done by right clicking on the entry and choosing 'Add Action' and selecing the action you wish to add.

Rolls

A roll has a roll button to roll the roll setup within the entry. The details button will provide an editor window to create the pool for the roll and display the text in the preview frame provided in the entry. Some of the entries below may not all be available depending on the character type.

Attributes

Will provide a selection of the attributes for the pool.

Skills

Will provide a selection of the skills on the sheet for the pool.

Advantages/Flaws

Will pull the characters current Advantages/Flaws and a modifier box for the label of the bonus to the pool and it's adjustment on the pool of dice. Also an on/off toggle is provided if you wish to enable or disable it for the next roll.

Special Groups

This will pull in the current list of special groups the character has and add the ranks of that group to the next action roll.

Custom

This is a place to add in any adjustment that isn't covered with the above. It functions very similarly to Advantages/Flaws, but the label is able to be anything the player wishes to have displayed.

Vampire

Blood Potency Frame and Buttons

This is where the character can track the Blood Potency the character has based on the Generation it possesses. If you are not able to adjust the edit mode box it may be due to having a too low generation for any to appear. This also adjust the blood potency minimum based on the rules within the system. Please check the rulebook for further clarification. A details button is provided to display a frame of the numerical breakdown of your bonuses.

The buttons underneath the blood potency frame provides quick actions for the various tasks blood potency fuels. Blood surge is a button that, when clicked to on, will provide the bonus listed on the button to the next roll. The rouse check button will roll dice to perform a rouse check. The mend check button will perform a mend check. Bane severity is not interactable and will display the current severity the character is at. The power bonus button is like the blood surge button in providing the bonus listed on the button when enabled to the next action roll. The frenzy check button will perform a frenzy check roll. The last control is a tooltip to display the current feeding penalty the character is at and will display when moused over. All are covered in more detail in the core rulebook.

Blood Resonance

This frame helps keep track of your current blood resonance the character has. It will also provide a space to keep track of the dyscracias the character has as well and a tooltip control to display them without opening the record. To add dyscracias, you will need to edit the record by clicking on the completed area. Adding a resonance is by clicking on the empty space and choosing one of the provided campaign records. If none appear then, you may need to enable the Core Rulebook module or have the GM create one and share the record.

Disciplines

These are the special groups for Vampires. You can add them by clicking on the add button or drag and dropping the record. Each entry will provide a button that can add the ranks of the discpline to the next roll and while in edit mode will allow you to change the ranks the character has in that discipline.

Werewolf

Form Frame

This frame is provided to help the character change their current form during play. The tooltip control will provide bonuses or negatives the form provides. The dice pool increases are included into rolls automatically and a silhouette is provided to give the player a quick look for what they would look like in the form chosen.

Regenerate button is used to perform a regenerate check. The Rage check button will perform a rage check. The Frenzy line has two controls; frenzy check and frenzy leave check. All are covered in more detail in the core rulebook.

Renowns

These are prepopulated as the character only receives these during play. The entry provides a roll button to initiate an action roll and a button to add the current rank to the next pool roll. Editing is performed by changing the edit state on the global edit button. Adjusting chagrin is also performed here as well and cycling through the button to the right of the renown button will apply a negative to the ranks of that renown.

Hunter

The despair control is to help inform the player the current character is in despair, but is not adjusted automatically.
